This is the genealogy of the Claflin family, through Robert Mackclothlan, of Wenham, MASS. This is a record of his descendants from 1661 to 1898. It is probable that Robert was one of Cromwell's Scotch prisoners captured at the Battle of Dunbar, sent to New England. And his name was probab;y Maclachlan. He married Joanna Warner in October, 1664.
