This book provides the history and genealogical record of several families bearing the name Cutler in the United States and Canada. It provides names of emigrant ancestors, those who served in the wars, wills, and other records. One emigrant was John Cutler, originally Johannes De Mesmaker from Holland, in New England in 1674-5 adopted the translation of his name and as John Cutler married Mary Cowell.
