This is the genealogy of the Dickey family. Adam Dickey was born in Ireland, and was the immigrant ancestor of this line who came to New Hampshire. Many came that they might enjoy a larger measure of religious liberty than had been allowed. The author gives an extensive look at the Scotch- Irish history and the church. The colony of Scotch-Irish Presbyterians had a settlement established in 1719 at Londonderry, New Hampshire.
