This booklet contains facts relating to the origin and history of John Dolbeare of Boston, and some of his descendants. About 1678 Edmund Dolbeare came to America from Devonshire, England along with his wife and two sons. He was a pewterer by trade and his sons, John and Joseph, grew up and joined in his business, which was established in Boston.
