This is the Frank family history. These are the descendants of Matthew Frank born in Dec., 1798 at Frankfort on the Mohawk River in New York. This area was settled years earlier by his family.  Henry and his brother Christopher emigrated to America from Germany before the French and Indian War. They landed at Philadelphia and remained in Penna several years before moving to New York, at the Mohawk River. Matthew Frank, son of Lawrence Senior and Mary Myers was the youngest of fourteen children. He married Barbara Loy and was a shoemaker by trade. Typescript
