This is the Gillingham family showing the descendants of Yeamans Gillingham, an ancestor who came from England to Pennsylvania between 1683 and 1690. Records show he bought one hundred acres in Oxford Twp, Philadelphia, the deed from William Penn's commisioner, dated August 31, 1691. And recorded him being a witness to the marriage of William Smith and Mary Croasdale, in Bucks County, Penna in 1690. He was married to Mary Taylor. Descendants are shown to 1901
