Goodwin Families in America,  It starts at page 417. The Goodwins were among the very first of the English speaking people to come to America. The earliest ones were in Virginia; Samuel Goodwin was massacred at Jamestown 1607-14. Sir Francis Goodwin was a member of the Virginia Company. He died in England, 1620. William and Ozias Goodwin, brothers, settled in Hartford CT., 1632.
