John Graham

Condition of the Border at the Union: Destruction of the Graham Clan, Second Edition. This book sheds light on a period of border history, a short land frontier between two ever-hostile kingdoms, with. events of the sixteenth century to the death of Elizabeth, showing the barbarous methods employed in the overthrow of the clans at the time of the union of two kingdoms - when James Stuart of Scotland mounted the throne as James the First of Great Britain. The largest clan in number was that of the Grahams of Eskdale. Their lands were extensive and valuable on the border.
