GUSEMAN: Abraham Guseman descendants 1938

These are the Abraham Guseman descendants. The name was spelled with variations that include Gusseman, Guseman, Gussman, Gusman, Guzeman. When Abraham Guseman came to America from Germany, he signed his name Guseman. He came with his brother John and sister Sophia. He took the Oath of Allegiance at Philadelphia September 14, 1751. Later he is seen in Berkeley County, Virginia. His son Abraham enlisted as a private , served seven years, was wounded but did not leave the service and remained as a gunsmith.
