This book gives the history and ancestry of Thomas Halsey of Hertfordshire, England, and Southampton, Long Island, 1591-1679 : with his American descendants to the eighth and ninth generations. This family was settled in America since before 1637. We're shown his signature with dates, letters he wrote, and what his life looked like as a Puritan emigrant. Sketches of many family members are included in each generation as well as William Halsey, brother to Thomas the immigrant.
