In Four Parts: Early settlers to Chester County, Pennsylvania, this is the genealogy of the Hannum family, descended from John and Margery (Southery) Hannum. Delaware County, PA was part of Chester County until 1789. John Hannum by deed of 1686 purchased of Jeremiah Collett, of Chichester, County of Chester and Province of Pennsylvania, two hundred acres of land. This was in Concord Twp. It is probable that all their children were born in Concord. They were Quakers and attended the Monthly Meeting at Concord. Included are wills and abstracts, and brief sketches of allied families.
