Early settlers to New England, this is the genealogy of the Hannum family, descended from William Hannum who was born about 1600. He sailed from Plymouth County, Devon, England in March of 1629/30 on the ship Mary and John, which arrived in Nantasket in May, 1630. He married Honor Capen and they lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and later to Windsor, CT. Their children were born in Dorchester.
