This is an account of the Harbaugh (Harbough, Herbach, Harobogh) family history, genealogy and a directory. Yost Harbaugh (spelled as Joost Harbogh)came to America from Switzerland. He was a member of the German Reformed Church. He settled in Pennsylvania where Harrisburg records show in 1739 he was a land owner of one hundred acres in Maxatawny Twp, now Berks County. Through the years the family settled also in Lancaster and York County and nearby areas. Included in this publication are war records for the French and Indian Wars, Revolutionary War, The War of 1812, The Mexican War, The Civil War, War with Spain, World War 1 and 2.
