This is an acctount of the descendants of Roger Haskell of Salem, Massachusetts to 1925. The first settlers of the name in America appear to have been three brothers, Roger, William and Mark. They were in the part of Salem, also known as Beverly, in 1637. Roger was born in England in 1613, William in 1617, and Mark was also born in England, date unknown. Roger was a mariner, was granted twenty acres of land, married 1st, Thurza Stone who died in 1650 and 2nd, Elizabeth Hardy. William married Mary in 1643 and they had several children.
