A memorial of the Hilles family, with a focus on Samuel and Margaret Hill Hilles of Wilmington, Delaware. In addition is reference to the life of Richard Hilles, founder of the Merchant Taylors School in London, 1561, and friend to those prominent in the early days to the Reformation. The founder of the family line in America was Hugh Hilles, emigrant from Ireland, married Ann Evans (of Limerick, PA) in Penna in 1748, at the Monthly Meeting of Friends 'Quakers' at New Providence Meeting House.
