This account of the genealogy of the Hodges Family in New England to Dec. 31, 1894, Third Edition covers generations, from 1633-1894. John Hodges of Charlestown, Mass, a mariner, is seen in 1632. In addition tp the genealogy are the records of those who served in America's wars, including the French and Indian Wars, Revolutionary, the enrollment of of male in habitants of Taunton and several colonies of Massachusetts in the year 1643 was William Hodges. Also mentioned are Richard and John. At a court held at Salem in 1638 William served upon a jury. There was also a Captain Hodges, a deacon, at Boston as early as 1633. We see the descendants of Henry Hodges. His eleven children are listed and his wife Ester.
