This is the Hoisington family history and genealogy. From England to the earliest settlers of Farmington, Connecticut, we see John Horsington, (later spelled Hoisington), son of a legendary immigrant from England. John Horsington,  born about 1650-55 in England, was alleged to have been kidnapped in England and brought to America when about 15 years old where he was sold on Long Island to pay for his passage.  Typescript.
