This is genealogical information regarding the history, relationship and the descendants of Jacob and Catherine Beeghly Horner in the US, for the years 1777-1914. They were married in about 1799 and had four daughters and six sons. It provides a glimpse into their religion, church splits, immigration history from Germany to eastern Pennsylvania. Jacob was a member of the German Baptist church, was an old time Whig, and a well respected citizen. They owned a large, fine farm and also planted orchards, and he was considered a progressive farmer of his day. He became wealthy and left a large inheritance for his children.
