HUNNINGS: Some notes on the families of Hunnings of So. Lincolnshire, London & Suffolk 1912
By W. E. Foster
The Hunnings families of South Lincolnshire, London and Suffolk, England. The descendants of Royal descent, through John Hunnings. The Lincolnshire family was typical, and of the middle class. For many centuries were landowners and held good position in the County. During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries they suffered greatly- during the War of the Roses, and even more during the rule of Henry VIII, who hated the County, because they let him know their disapproval of his first Queen, his brutal robbery and religious intolerance. A Pedigree chart is included.
