This book records the Isbell family and it's branches in America and history in Europe. The common ancestors in America being Robert Isbell and Ann Kingman, married about 1638-9. Robert Isbell was in New London, Connecticut where he had land in 1650. Prior to that he may have been in Gloucester, Mass. He and his wife had two children, Eleazer and Hannah. Robert Isbell died in 1655. (His widow Ann Isbell married William Nichols.) Henry Kingman of Weymouth, Mass was born in England in 1595 and came to New England in 1635. Henry married Joanna and they had several children as recorded.
