There were many Johnsons that were early settlers from England to New England. This Jacob Johnson of Harpswell, Maine was born in 1715 and came to America as a young man. He lived to 1803, dieing at age 88. Many stories handed down from prior generations accompany this book, along with some portraits, illustrations, and an index of names.
