This book is an account of the Lower family in America, providing descendants of Adam Lower who settled in Williamsburg, PA in 1799. He lived most of his life in Williamsburg, Blair County, Pa. This town was in Huntingdon County in his day. He died there at the age of seventy-eight, and was buried in the cemetery by the Old stone church, which was either Lutheran or German Reform. His wife, Elizabeth, died before him, and he married a second time.
