This is the history and genealogy of the Robert Gower Family. He was born in Norfolk County, England, near the village of Holt on October 9, 1722. His parents were Robert and Margaret (Harrison) Gower. Records show him in Boston in 1759. Various pronunciations and spellings of the name include Gore, Goor, Gorr. Typescript.
